With this ‘ecology game’, students learned that all the components of living organisms are relying on each other. Also, they could notice that the ecosystem will lose its order and equilibrium if only one component of it became extinct.

The idea behind the solfege hand signs is simple: each tone of the seven-note solfege system is given a shape for the singer to make with his/her hand while singing.
By this activity, students expressed the pitches of the sound with their body, so as to feel and develop the sense of sound tone and have a good ear for music. After practicing several times, they even sang a full song with the hand sign without their voice!
Before this art activity, we learned how the color we see is mixed and formed, integrating with the science class.
By mixing colors of paints and lights, students could differentiate between subtractive and additive color synthesis. In this activity down below is
activity which they can experience subtractive color synthesis.
- Students chose several colors they want to gradate with their group members. Then they mixed the color of crayon or paint.
- Then using the color variation they noticed, they cut the color papers or draw circles on the black mammoth paper.
This can also serve as a great decoration for the classroom!
